J M Packaging has recently produced this new pouch which is a great example of reducing packaging in ready meals.  This pouch offers an instant solution in the quest to reduce packaging by eradicating the need of microwaveable trays, lidding films and sleeves.   There are clear environmental advantages but also cost savings can also be made.

The pouch has tear notches for easy opening, and offers a 12 month ambient shelf life, but can also be produced in a chilled specification.

The pouch is gravure printed with high quality graphic.
